font paths on RedHat 5.0
The font path is not working with for me in vnc

I am trying to run a server on a RedHat Linux 5.0

I have all the fonts installed and a regular X server
run fine. (I can run more than one X server on
this machine with any problem)

running the given perl script the x apps it starts
(looking at ps aux) die after a few seconds, so I am
trying to run Xnvc directly

-----------------

$ Xvnc :25
rfbInitSockets: listening on TCP port 5925
failed to set default font path '/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/,
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/,/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/,
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/,/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/'

Fatal server error:
could not open default font 'fixed'

I tried running Xvnc: -fp 'font_path_that_my_xserver_gives' and that
did not work either

/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/,/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/,

Any suggestions? I tried also setting the path in the provided perl
script but that doesn't help.

here is the output of starting a local X server:
