Hi Anil,
What seems to be going wrong here is that the X server can't find the
directories containing the fonts. The important error message is the bit that
says:
> failed to set default font path
> '/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/,/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fon
> ts/Speedo/,/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/,/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75
> dpi/,/usr/X11R6/ lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/'
In other words there isn't a /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts directory. This is
probably because you don't have the XFree86-3.3.1-14 RPM. On our Redhat 5
machines we get:
% rpm -qf /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts
XFree86-3.3.1-14
You'll have to get this package before you can run VNC.
Cheers
Tristan
