Windows VNC packages updated
============================


AT&T Labs Cambridge is pleased to announce the latest release of VNC for
Windows.

Version 3.3.3R2 includes a few bug fixes and one or two new features
over 3.3.3R1. Anybody still using 3.3.2 is definitely advised to
upgrade.


Perhaps the most important changes are:

* WinVNC can now take a -connect option, which tells a running VNC
server to initiate an outgoing connection to a listening viewer.

* A bug in the viewer which made it unreliable on SMP machines has been
fixed.

We recommend that you stop and uninstall any running VNC software before
installing the new version, otherwise certain files may not be
successfully replaced.
