PURGE and restart() Without Increasing Miss Count?

Hi all,

Is there anything I can do in VCL to prevent a particular request from
increasing the miss count?

This is because I use the PURGE method to keep the cache up to date,
issuing a restart from vcl_purge. I would like to not increase the miss
count for those requests, if it's possible?
