#1690: CentOS 7 init script is broken due to two separate pidfiles
-----------------------+-----------------------
Reporter: alexzorin | Type: defect
Status: new | Priority: normal
Milestone: | Component: packaging
Version: 3.0.5 | Severity: normal
Keywords: |
-----------------------+-----------------------
RPM from https://repo.varnish-
cache.org/redhat/varnish-3.0/el7/x86_64/varnish/ (3.0.6) ships with an
init script that describes two separate pid files (varnish.pid and
varnishd.pid).
Due to this discrepancy, controlling the service via systemd/systemctl
does not work.
The pid files should be the same.
