Subversion on a different server?
Can Trac and Subversion be installed on two different servers that are
only accessible through the Internet or do they have to reside on the
same machine?

Looking at the install, it seems to me that access to the Subversion DB
is done directly on the file system. Is this correct?

Claude,

The Subversion repo has to be on the same machine/file system.

Trac need local access to _a_ repository. But Because Trac never
modifies the repository (svn still need write access to create temporary
transactions though) it should be possible to setup a cronjob that
replicates a copy of the real repository to the machine running Trac.
