ISOLINUX / DVD-R question
Hello,

I have been playing around with syslinux for the past few
days and have found it to be very, very useful. I have run into
a snag, though, and need some advice. I am trying to make a
bootable DVD-R and have not had success. I can't get the system to
recognize the DVD-R as bootable media. If I make a CD-R with
the exact same linux filesystem, it boots just fine.

My question for the group is: is DVD-R supported by ISOLINUX?
I have not found any documentation that leads me in one direction
or another, so I'd appreciate any advice from the list.

Thanks, hpa, for such a great tool.

ISOLINUX should work on a DVD-R, assuming it's an iso9660 filesystem,
and the BIOS handles it correctly.
