That was it! Thank you so much! Yee-haw. I see this issue is
addressed on your hardware page
(http://syslinux.zytor.com/hardware.php). I actually read an old
version of the page before but your solution didn't jump out at me
because I've been overwhelmed by the details of this process. I didn't
expect network booting to be so complicated, and I expected to need a
PXE server to boot a PXE client (but apparently not).
