Mailing List Archive: Problem with external forwarders

We have a serious problem with external forwardes of some customers

secenario : they have some domains within our facilities .... this is all
ok
but some domains they host on schlund aka 1&1 in Germany...
for these domains they forward all mails to their domain hosted by
netpilot...

know the question: is this forwarder at 1&1 (Schlund) buggy ??? or is this
a general problem.. with spf ???

Hi,

SPF+forwarding is problematic, two things can be done:

1. whitelist your forwarder in the receiveing mta

or

2. implement srs in the forwarding mta

I'm not sure, but the message you quoted doesn't seem to have sign of
srs.. Read the relevant pages on spf.pobox.com if in doubt.
