Where in RFC 2822 did you find a Precedence header field, let
alone a mandatory Precedence: list header field for lists ?

This is apparently not even provisionally registered, compare
RFC 4021 and the IANA header field registries below

http://www.iana.org/assignments/message-headers/message-header-index.html

If Google wants that fixed they could hire me... :-)

There are a bunch of RFCs discussing List-* header fields,
and other RFCs discussing auto-replies including "vacation"
and "out of office" spam.

For stupid mailbots users could configure "at least don't
spam my mailing lists, they will unsubscibe me" manually.

The implementors of broken "auto-responders" are a public
danger. What you see here on the list is only the tip of
the ice-berg, the rest ends up in your inbox whenever you
post here (I'll forward my share to spamcop).
