Postfix reload done after editing master.cf and main.cf

dpkg -s postfix or pkg_info | grep -i postfix or the similar command for
your operating system.

I said "restarted" because I'm not sure reload is engoush
when you change master.cf (not main.cf).

You got the installed release by "postconf -d | grep version".

I do not know of any such command for RedHat 7.3 none of the above is
functional...

A postfix stop && postfix start didn't help...

People who install RedHat always explain their choice by something
like "it is much more easy to administer than FreeBSD or
Debian". Apparently, it is not.

Or, if you do not know man, you will have trouble with SPF, for sure.

rpm -q postfix

As someone who runs both RH and Debian, I have to say I find it so. I just
don't expect it to understand Debian config commands...
