Mail Duplication
Hello,

I don't know if this is Spamassassin related or not. I am running RH9
with Sendmail, Spamassassin, and MIMEDefang. I have one user (only one
out of 20 or so) that receives duplicate emails in his Outlook client
from time to time. This user is configured the sames as the rest,
except that he has 3 workstations that he uses Outlook on to receive his
mail. Everyone else has only one. Outlook will all of a sudden decided
that all mail on the server is new and downloads everything. Sometimes
it does it several times in a row, like this morning it did it 6 times
in a row. I have confirmed only one instance of each message on the
server, so it looks like something is flagging the messages as unread
and Outlook re-downloads them. Has anyone seen this before?

Check to see if the user has a hung detached POP process that has locked
the mailbox preventing Outlook from updating it. This will also stop the
arrival of new mail....
