Alternative checkpassword
I just rewrote a checkpassword compatible program that fetches user infos
in its own configuration file. So that users without any actual account but
a Maildir can read their message thru qmail-popup. Or real users can have
distinct passwords for pop and login.

The only thing you have to do is to create a file with such entries :

falbala:qoQu0j4WFzIkN:alex:/home/alex/falbala

Falbala will fetch her mail with 'falbala' as a login, any password, and
qmail-pop3d will peek into /home/alex/falbala/Maildir with alex's uid/gid.
