Announcement: ucspi-tls 1.0 and ucspi-ssl-0.93
Hi everybody,

glady, I was able to (almost) finish two of my intermediate projects:

a) ucspi-tcp6 1.0.0

b) ucspi-ssl 0.93

available thru <http://www.fehcom.de/ipnet/ipnet_en.html>.

Both packages enhance the IPv4 capabilities to IPv6 with full CIDR support
for controlling incoming connections.
In order to build a cdb with IPv6/IPv4 CIDR addresses, ucspi-tcp6 is
required; though the cdb's are backword compatible.

They are suited for the AMD64 environment and compile well with clang.
I urge all maintainers of packages and ports (*BSD, *Linux) to move to the
new versions.

I'm thankful to John Levine identifying some bugs in the previous versions
which became apparent in particular in the 64 bit environment running
FreeBSD.

By the very same token, I like to announce

c) Spamcontrol 2.7.30

with again some fixes for 64 bit machines and some bug fixes for
domainips/domaincerts evaluation. This version requires utmpx.h and is well
suited for FreeBSD with clang. ucspi-ssl is needed as well to provide TLS
support.

The Spamcontrol patch adds Auth+TLS features (client+server) to vanilla
qmail, together with anti-spam and anti-virus mechanisms.

More information can be found here:

Many thanks to the supporting community.

Best regards.
