just fyi, those of us who are using spam-filtered
ISP's only sees your followups, not the original
rubbish. this might also be true for the python-
list (egroups.com doesn't have the original post,
only the followups).

in other words, simply ignoring usenet spam is
the best way to minimise their impact. if you
find them annoying, consider finding a better
ISP.
