Although I am an HP employee, I am *not* speaking *for* HP, but merely my
opinions as an employee. Even saying this much may be overstepping the
bounds of expected behaviour.
There, now that the disclaimer is official....
Currently, it is my belief that HP is not planning to support Perl 5 on
the HP-UX 10.01 platform. I have been trying to get this supported, and
if we actually acquire Convex, then this might change. Then again, the
folks at Convex told me that after Tom left, Perl support kinda went
downhill.
My best suggestion is to continually pester your sales/support person about
Perl. If we ever do support it, my resume is all ready to try to grab that
position, either as technical lead or project lead.
