New Perl5_100... fails tests
Yo,

I have NT 3.51, SP2, the NewShell Beta 2 and Visual C++ 4.0 (yes, I
know...it's not supported). Anyway, I tried to build the sources of
Perl 5 version 100 (??) and the test script failed with

base\cond......FAILED on test 0
Failed a basic test--cannot continue.

Anyone else getting this or have an answer (that does not include
getting rid of the Win 95 beta shell)? Thanks.

I'm seeing a similar problem building it for PPC.

Hmmm... you must have an *old* SDK; you need to upgrade. However, since
the SDK makefile wasn't included in the source I was using VC++ 4.0
Beta. Hip tells me PPC doesn't build right as yet, maybe next week.
