I am the system admin here at Radiofone. I have been asked to install
PERL under Solaris 2.3. I retreived a copy of PERL 5.01m and appears to work
fine. I was not able to compile it myself using GNU C, but that's
not really a problem. One of our contractors wants a version of ISQLPERL
to run against our database.
I cannot find a version of perl that has hints for Solaris 2.3 or above.
Where can I find such an animal. I really get a laugh at the lines
in doc files that tell people if they have a problems see your system
administrator! Where do we go for help!
