multiple messages
Welp, am I the only one getting multiple copies of yesterday's messages?

Ever since Dean's message <9510202107.AA20267@poplar027> of Fri, 20 Oct 1995
16:07:15 -0500, all I have gotten are about 11 messages from yesterday.
What's worse, they keep coming at me.. Help! :-)

I just got these for the third time:

2850+%10/19 Bob Olson Re: stty hang in AIX pseudo-tty<<And on AIX
2851 10/19 Paul Hudson Exception handling...<<I find myself in nee
2852 10/19 Tom Christiansen Re: Exception handling...<<> I find myself

I seem to be getting these too, notably the "Exception handling" and "Line
noise" threads. No exact count here... For some reason, it appears the
duplicates don't show up as <N>ew under PINE, so it's a little hard to see
what's happening.

Here is a complete header from one. Note in particular the doubled
List-Name field:

Yup, it's happening to me too. Someone stop it please!

Ditto. I'm getting dups of about 7 messages from various folks.

And here is the header of another one that I just got for the fifth time

Looks like Dan Simmons will be the person to find right away. Everyone's
mailbox is going to be vandalized if this continues all night. Hmm, looks
like his phone number is (800) 406-3191 from his sig. I don't think there
might be much of a chance getting him on that. Lemme see..

Look again. It just wasn't sorted, as it came out on my end.

I just tried Dan Simmons' 800 number and got a machine at the
other end. Oh well, folks will have some mess to tidy up if this
continues at the same rate.

Duh. Yeah, a grep in my mailbox reveals all my recent killed messages (the
dup-ed ones) have two List-Name fields each. I wonder if the bulkmailer is
caught in some kind of nether-loop, like a dog chasing its tail :-) :-)
