Below is the version of ncr_tower.sh that I successfully used to install
Perl5-001m (plus fixes I already have submitted) on our machine running
SysVr2.01. As the comments in the file state, I first had to install Doug
Gwyn's dirent library. I suggest using it to replace or supplement the
existing hints file.
