After 'who sent me selfloader' now 'who wrote Socket.tar.gz'

On ftp://ftp.icnet.uk/icrf-public/biu/perlmods

I found a Socket.tar.gz, contents

I suspect, it's written by Jack Shirazi, but I may be wrong. I'd like
to upload it, but I need the author.

Anybody know more?

Yes, it's Jack's work. It's smarter about sockaddr_in and a few other
things.

Larry, what's your word on this module? I'd love to see it in 5.002.
