ntop on the local subnet
Hi,

As a result of telstra's new 3G cap (
http://www.quarks.com.au/~tb/3GbCap.jpg:) ) on their ADSL service I need
some way of keeping track of how much bandwidth a particular (by ip)
user on the local subnet has used over a given time. Can ntop establish
the fore mentioned for a particular subnet of ip's ?

ie/

192.168.0.2 - 500mb
192.168.0.3 - 1.2gb
...
192.168.0.x

Any way you get the idea, use pays for excess usage over the 3gb limit
:)

My reading on ntop seems to suggest this is very much possible, can't
seem to find any examples of how people have done this.

Anyone got any thoughts or ideas??

Regards,

Tristan
