Why does the Web interface not work
I type the command

ntop -w 3000

and it comes back with this

ntop: illegal option -- w
ntop v.1.1 for i386-unknown-netbsd1.5
Written by Luca Deri <deri@unipi.it>.

Usage: ntop
[-r <refresh time (interactive = 3 sec/web = 120 sec)>]
[-f <traffic dump file (see tcpdump)>]
[-n (numeric IP addresses (interactive mode only))]
[-p <IP protocols to monitor> (see man page)]
[-i <interface>]
[-w <port>]
[-d (daemon mode [use only with -w])]
[-m <local addresses (see man page)>]
[-l <log period (seconds)>]
[-F <flow specs (see man page)>]
[ <filter expression (like tcpdump)>]

While ntop is running interactively, the following keys are active:
'q' - quit ntop
'r' - reset statistics
'n' - toggle address format (num <-> sym <-> MAC <-> Nw Board Manufact.)
'p' - toggle traffic values (bytes <-> % <-> thpt)
'l' - toggle hosts display (local subnet <-> all)
'd' - toggle idle (idle <-> send/receive)
't' - toggle sort (sent <-> received)
'y' - toggle columns sort
'h' - show this help
' ' - toggle protocol

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY???

Thanx

Hello Jeff,

Which is rubbish, because I specify about 5 command line parameters
in conjuction with -d. It means if you use -d, you must/should also
use -w. (Although a default of 3000 is now used if you don't.)

It doesn't say that in the usage.

It says that if you use -d, it must not be used with anything other than -w.
That's all it says.
