P-1GE-LH <-5ft-> Cat3508

Hello,

I've been given an unused P-1GE-LH to connect to a close by (5 ft) cat
3508.. is this even possible? Would it work with a Cisco 1000BASE-LX/LH
GBIC and attenuators or should I go with the -ZX?

Take a ZX GBIC _and_ use attentuators! ZX is made for 70km, not 5ft.
Otherwise you can throw your PIC and GBIC into the trashcan.

10dB minimum for anything under 25km iirc.
