bug or feature
Hello List,

I just received M10, running 5.7R2.4, with one power supply.
When executing the following:

root> show chassis environment
Class Item Status Measurement
Power Power Supply A Absent <--
Power Supply B Absent <--

I'm a bit confused, how can this be?

root> show chassis alarms
No alarms currently active

Any thoughts or ideas how to get one of them to "OK" ?

I'm thinking of either, bad chassis, bad power supply (then I don't
understand how it works in the first place), buggy JunOS (?). Thanks,

Hi Basil,

Please send the following information to support@juniper.net, and JTAC will
take care of this :

- show chassis hardware extensive | no-more
- show chassis environment
- show log chassisd | no-more
- show log messages | no-more

Thanks,
- Kisito
