Dear All

What firmware are people using with the MLXe X2 2 million route 20x 10gbit port line cards ?

5.8b seems to have a lot of CPU issues for very basic functions such as dealing with ARP !

Kindest Regards

We have tried 05800aa and the worst bug we have experienced is a near-loss of forwarding for some directly-connected networks. I say near loss because it appears at first to be 100% packet loss, but if you try for like 5 minutes, eventually some packets get through. BGP neighbors would establish, but then quickly fail.

Defect observed on two chassis. BTAC's recommendation is to reload one particular slot, but I haven't tried that to determine if it helps. Problem happens apparently 100% of the time upon first bootup. Am not satisified with a fix that involves manually reloading certain slots after every reboot.

Hi,

We just upgraded to 5.7d (we're generally cautious about anything before c)
and installed our first 20x10g X2 cards. We do not yet have any traffic on
the new card though.
