vlan byte-accounting issue on big iron rx
Hi all,

im using big iron rx (2.9 firmware) and trying to enable byte-accounting on
vlans and im getting this:

(config-vlan-201)#byte-accounting
Error: Maximum burst cannot be greater than 1,250,000,000 bytes.

i do not have rate limiting setup nor its for default vlan or anything, its
actually doing the same thing on all vlans

Thanks!

Are you saying you can’t even enable it on a single vlan or that you have it enabled on some

but can’t enable it on all the vlans you want to?

What model line cards are you using?

Is the vlan in question spanning different models of line cards?

Re: vlan byte-accounting issue on big iron rx [ In reply to ]
it gets "enabled" with that error message and shows in config but does not
do actual accounting, none vlan byte accounting works

using these cards: RX-BI-24F 24-port 1 GbE Module CARD_STATE_UP 24

some vlans span over couple cards but most of them are on one 1st card
