x450 strange restarts
hello,

we have a lot of old x450-24x switches, but one recently behaves very
strange.
ExtremeXOS version 12.4.5.3 v1245b3-patch1-6

More complicate, it is x450 in particular location, so replaced by other
unit - behaves in particular place in the same way:

12/06/2013 17:53:08.52 <Noti:EPM.UnexpctRebootDtect> Slot-1: Booting
after System Failure.
12/06/2013 17:53:07.23 <Noti:EPM.wd_warm_reset> Slot-1: Changing to
watchdog warm reset mode

No other information in log, temperature is normal 35.5degrees Celsius.

Any hints ?
Regards,
Marcin

If that doesn't help then remove cover and check out condensers on motherboard.
We had the similar problems, some Summit X350 and X450 switches suddenly died.
We found some condensers were bloated. We replaced them with new ones with same
capacity, and all switches are working now properly.

Hello.
We also had problems with this equipment.
Really on a management board (it is located head over heels on a motherboard), in the block of stabilizers, there are six electrolytic condensers.
As a rule after 4-5 years of operation they fail. Their replacement by the new, solves a problem.
We put bigger capacity and calculated on the bigger voltage of power supply.
Usually this is a Polymer Capacitors. Their characteristics are more stable.
