x450 PANIC
Hi, I have an x450-48p that has been working fine for a few years until today, I get this on boot:

Extreme Networks
................................................................

* Summit X450 *
Version 1.0.2.2 by release-manager on Tue 10/31/06
Copyright 2003-2006, Extreme Networks, Inc.

Press and hold the <spacebar> to enter the bootstrap.

Starting Primary Bootloader ...

Extreme Networks
................................................................

Running POST.../
Cache Err 00001ae0
ERRORPC=8003f7c8
EPC=ffffffff
PANIC! Unexpected General exception!

ERRORPC=8003f7c8
EPC=b0037c0c
PANIC! Unexpected General exception!

ERRORPC=8003f7c8
EPC=b0037c0c
PANIC! Unexpected General exception!

and these 3 lines keep repeating.

Does anyone have any ideas to try? Does this look like a hardware or software problem? I can get into the bootloader but there isn't much you can do from there, and the documentation is severely lacking.

Thanks

I'd try to load fresh code onto the flash and see if it works. It's possible
the image has been corrupted.

And if that isn't working and you have AHR for your boxes then you might have to get a replacement.
