options cifs.nfs_root_ignore_acl can be thought of the opposite to your
/etc/usermap.cfg where it maps Administrator == root.
The usermap.cfg file says "If you see the domain administrator, treat
him/her like root for any files/directories with Unix permissions.
This is handy if you are using Unix (or mixed with Unix permissions on
the file/directory) on the volume or qtree (hope that made sense.)
"cifs.nfs_root_ignore_acl on" is the opposite. If you have NTFS
semantics on your directory/file/qtree/volume turning this option on
says "If I have NFS root permissions, then I'm god!" Very handy if
you're like me and use a Unix system to do administration, ONTAP
updates, etc. Of course this assumes you have the exports file setup
properly to allow that Unix host root access.
