Cluster software, homegrown scripts or manual failover for oracle /netapp env -- any real world processes people want to share?
Currently our failover process is a manual one based on the scenario that
our primary production server has gone down and the
netapp server and database is ok.

The process is tested and works very well. The cons is that its not an
automatic solution but we can get the system back up in less than 30 minutes
after being alerted at random any time of the day.

Interested in what others are doing.
