Re: Re: Last call for bug reports before Nessus 1.0.9
I had an almost similar experience. I ran 1.0.8, and a user named 'max'. everything worked fine. Then i upgraded after checking for dns-pollution :) with the lynx -source http://install.nessus.org | sh.

This worked perfectly.

I put in '127.0.0.1' instead of localhost and it worked ok. try it. know it should resolve the localhost, but try 127.0.0.1 instead. it worked for me.

I then got another errormessage, though. My old user didn't work anymore, even though my passphrase was correct.
i added a new user and it worked ok. If you get that error too you know what to do :)

Re: Re: Last call for bug reports before Nessus 1.0.9 [ In reply to ]
you do have `127.0.0.1 localhost` in your /etc/hosts dont you? and have
the resolver looking at the hosts file first?

Oh, and hello mate, you`ve been a bit quiet recently...

Steve
