Problem with .txt scan targets
Hopefully this is an easy one for someone out there....

When entering FQDNs in a text file rather than the IP, I can only scan a
handful (4 or 5) hosts. If I enter more than 4 or 5, I receive the
message:

'The remote server abruptly closed the connection: 0 6'
In the server log an 'Invalid Target' message.

I can scan the same hosts using IP no problem. DNS is working fine on
scanning server.

I have tried using a space and carraige return to seperate the hosts.

Thanks in advance.

We've seen this happen when one of the target hostnames is invalid. If
that's what's happening in your case, fix / delete the problematic
targest; otherwise, please send me privately the text file you're
using along with information about the Nessus client / server you are
using (platform and version).

We have experiencing the same, if some of the hosts on the list were not
up.
We had no choise but scan whole ranges.
