Why do you think versions 7.x and below are *NOT*
vulnerable?

I couldn't find anything on Ipswitch's web site about the
vulnerability, other than the hotfix at
<http://www.ipswitch.com/Support/ICS/updates/im814hf1.html>;
ie, no mention of version numbers affected.
