I have done some additional checking/testing ...
1. Running nessus on SUSE 9 for the AMD64 does produce reports but ...
get same/similar errors in nessusd.dump and SIGSEGV messages in
nessusd.messages
2. Running just nasl -t <ip_addr> /usr/lib64/nessus/plugins/ping_host.nasl
will produce a seg-fault on both SUSE 9 and the Fedora Core preview I am
running. This appears to be in libnessus/pcap.c in the "routethough"
function.
