Mailing List Archive: MPEG2 lossless transcoding gone?

I have a few shows (720p60, 1080i30) that have a cut list and I'd like
to remove the commercials. When I go into the backend settings I don't
see a "lossless" option anymore. More confusingly, I am to choose MPEG4
or RTJpeg for the transcoder, neither of which I want.

Further, the resolution seems to be maxed-out at 720x480. Has the
lossless option been removed?

I haven't tried this recently. The wiki was last touched in 2017, but
ISTR tweaks for python3 more recently. Also that the backend settings in
mythtv-setup relate mainly to analog tv.
