WinTV card question - saving settings

I have an older hauppage winTV card. Every time I reboot, I find that I
have to go into XawTV and set it for NTSC and change the channel to 3 or
the input to S-Video...

How can I make it keep the settings? And, is this at all related to
XawTV? Is there a MythTV setting somewhere that can store this
information?

On every reboot, make a script that uses v4lctl to set the norm and the
initial station. (man v4lctl). Make sure this is done BEFORE
mythbackend/mythfrontend start up.
