Asus Pundit - P4 2.8GHz+ Only ?

In the Asus Pundit specification in asus website (
http://www.asus.com/prog/spec.asp?m=Pundit&langs=01 )
it is said as CPU suport "Intel Pentium 4 Socket 478 2.8GHz+"
processors.

Does that mean I *have* to get a 2.8GHZ or higher speed processor only ?
Or can I get any P4 478 socket ? I find that these P4 are selling at
exorbitant price (as compared to AMD or slightly lower speed P4s.)

I mean, I can live with 2 or 2.4GHz processor if I am saving 100$ !

Mine is running just fine with a 2.4Ghz celeron.

Mine is running a 1.7Ghz celeron with no problems. It is awkwardly
worded - I had the same thought when I first read it.
