Kernel 2.4.21 DMA FYI
I don't know if any of you have upgraded to kernel 2.4.21 yet, but it
seems to have some DMA issues with IDE hard drives.

I would suggest waiting until these are resolved. In any case, you've
been informed in case things seem a bit off...

On further digging, it seemed to be a chipset issue. If you are
compiling a 2.4.21 kernel, make sure that you set your IDE chipset - it
makes a wold of difference...
