How to install XMLTV!!

XMLTV, is the last program I need to install for MythTV, but it dosen't
seem to be working!! If someone could walk me step by step on this that
would ASOME!! It may sound like a stupied qushtion, but am REALLY new at
this.

What distribution of Linux are you running (Mandrake, Red Hat, Debian,
Gentoo)?

did you read the configuration documentation? it has a step by step
guide.... is there a particular step or instruction you don't understand or
are having problems/errors with?
