No right audio channel after changing channels in current cvs !
When I am watching live tv with the current cvs (downloaded today) both
audio channels work fine until i change the channel.
Then the right channel no longer works.
I have confirmed using the alsamixer that the right channel is set to 0
after a channel change and remains there until you exit out of live tv
and restart it.

I cannot get my right audio channel to work for the world, using the regular
line in capture. I get both channels in stereo with btaudio, but its
fuzzy... I verified the balance and stuff of the L/R in the mixer, but it
seemed OK.

I was reading the list and came across a few "no right audio channel"
messages ...but they were from over a month ago. Are there any issues I
should know about? Does mythTV do something internally with L/R speakers,
and if so can I check a setting related to it somewhere?

The email you quoted was a bug in the 0.9 release, fixed in the 0.9.1 release.

Your problem is probably an inability to record in stereo at all. Test it
with other tools -- 'rec', most likely.

I'm still trying to narrow this problem down...
would you say the inability to record in stereo is a shortcoming of A) mixer
settings B) ALSA driver settings C) bttv / v4l settings D) tv tuner card
itself E) ??
