PVR-250 + lines and ghosting
I just installed a PVR-250 and I am getting very slight vertical lines and
slight ghosting. Anyone else using this card experience the same? I tried
the other Phillips tuner types in the tuner module but none seem to get rid
of the problem. I had this problem with my original ATI tuner card, but it
went away when I upgraded to a WinTV 401. Is there anything I can do to get
rid of the lines? Could the card be bad?

Thanks,
Jeff

I'm seeing the same ghosting with my pvr-250, but it seems to come and go.
Could be the decoder, could be the card, I dunno. I think it seems to happen
less when I record at 720x480 (as opposed to 480x480).

Hmm, must be the cards, 720x480 is much better for me as well.

I'm seeing the ghosting too. I figured it was the old, cheap coax
splitter and cable I was using, but now I'm not so sure. If it turns
out to be the card and isn't correctable, my opinion of it will
greatly diminish and it may wind up getting returned.

Yep, I see ghosting too.. It's more obvious on some channels than
others. Could this be a hardware or software problem? Maybe we need to
email the ivtv guys and ask them about it. I'll post a message on the
forums / list.
