Are you editing the right mythgame-settings.txt file? If there is a
mythgame-settings.txt file in the directory you are running mythgame
from it will use that file instead of the one in
/usr/local/share/mythtv. Also, is the xmame executable set up correctly
in the settings file? If not, the roms won't be processed.

For the life of me, I cannot get any Xmame games to show up under
mythgame.
I have all the directories setup correctly in the config file, but they
just
will not show up under mythgame. I added tuxracer to gamemenu.xml and
that
shows up fine. Do the roms have to be in the rom directory in any
certain
way? I have tried everything from leaving them zipped, to unzipping
them,
to putting each rom in a different directory under the roms directory
without any luck.
