Go to the Program Guide or Program Finder, find the show
then press "i" and choose "Don't record this program". It
would be easier if you could press "i" on the Fix Conflicts
page.

Go to Watch Recordings, play the show and pres ESC. Choose
"Delete this recording". This will both stop recording and
delete the file. There is no current option to stop recording
and save the recorded portion.

You don't have to actually play the show to stop/delete it, though.

I will watch this more closely. I have experienced several problems where once I did this, the backend still records. I need to kill the backend to stop it. (I thought perhaps I was doing it the wrong way!)

I will repro and let you know if it still does it.

You don't have to actually play the show to stop/delete it, though.
