mythbackend server
When I try to startup the mythbackend server and type in mythbackend my
computer displays:

Starting Up As The Master Server.
No such file or directory.
No such file or directory.

Does anyone know what is causing this problem? Thank you for your help.

The next lines should say: Probed: /dev/video/whatever

What did you setup as your video device in the setup program?

Are there any /dev/video and /dev/dsp entries in your /dev directory?

Did you read the docs?

Re-run the backend setup program & check your settings for the media storage
directory, ringbuffer storage directory , video device & audio capture
device. Make sure they all exists & are readable/writeable by the user
running Myth.

Note: Although it might seem like you can type in the text fields on the
setup screens, nothing you type will be saved. Use the arrow keys.
