Myth TV Display blank video
Im using the latest MC CVS, latest bttv drivers for a wonder ve and the
latest emu10k1 for an audigy card. xawtv works fine and I can display
video and here sound. I setup mythtv properly (i think :\ ) and start
mythbackend and mythfrontend. When I try to watch live tv I get a black
full screen. I can hit the 'f' key to make it 1/2 height and back again
but that is about it.

I search all of the lists and did everything people tried ( EX. makeing
sure my hostname is in the settings table)
Here is the output of both:
BACKEND:
Starting up as the master server.
Probed: /dev/video0 - Television
Probed: /dev/video0 - Composite1
External channel change: /usr/bin/chan.sh 3
adding: localhost.localdomain as a player 1
adding: localhost.localdomain as a player 0
adding: localhost.localdomain as a player 0
adding: localhost.localdomain as a remote ringbuffer
Changing from None to WatchingLiveTV
audio volume set to '32768'
strange error flushing buffer ...
Changing from WatchingLiveTV to None
adding: localhost.localdomain as a player 1

FRONTEND:
connecting to backend server: 127.0.0.1:6543
Changing from None to WatchingLiveTV
Over/underscanning. V: 0.000000, H: 0.000000, XOff: 0, YOff: 0
Using XV port 55

A line that says it cant find the osdtheme: blueosd is in there also.
Re: Myth TV Display blank video [ In reply to ]
What's you "xvinfo" and "xawtv -hwscanoutput"? I've seen XV port 55 as
a dummy port from V4L. If Myth's using 55 and that is a dummy, then you
probably don't have an XV compliant card or the extension loaded into X.
What video card are you using?
