webbrowser widget on menu screen
Is it possible to add a webbrowser widget to the menu screens?

I'd like to add a news ticker to the bottom of the menu but it seems to cause

The wiki seems to suggest that this should be possible?

Cheers

This message suggests that your XML is wrong. Yes, putting a Web browser
widget in the menus is supported and works.

Thanks a Robert

I tried again, this time I coped the code from browser ui and it worked :)

After setting the updateinterval any way... a fade is nicer then the
scrolling though as the scrolling is very in your face

very cool thinking of cool ways to exploit this now... news headlines
/ you have mail / sports scores / weather...

I never did like all that empty screen space just sitting there

Is there any way to stop the webbrowser from taking the focus on first load?

Define it before the menu.
