Anyone know of a AMV convertor for Linux?
Hi there

I just took delivery of my first "video ipod" clone. You know - plays
videos on a teeny-weeny screen thingy (technical term I know)

Anyway, the most efficient format to use for them is AMV - the size of
the screen allows you to throw out most content. It can take a 1 hour
MPEG movie down to ~160M. That's pretty cool.

Anyhow, it comes with a Windows based AMV converter which does the jobs
nicely. But I'd like a Linux version.

So has anyone heard of a tool for converting MPEG/AVI/etc into AMV?

Thanks!

Jason
