Don't know if anyone saw the announcement on the v4l page, but tvtime
implements a deinterlacer as well as some OSD functions. From the
screenshots, it makes the video look a lot better, since you don't
get interlacing artifacts.

No PVR functionality though.

Yeah, the main author of tvtime has been on the #mythtv channel ever since I
started it.. He's been borrowing code from mythtv occasionally, too =)
Anyway, I'm going to be using his code as the basis for a 'no-time-shifting'
watching tv mode eventually.
