Mythtv runs, but no video appears
I finally got my debian system to install everything
for mythtv. I didn't have any problems filling the
database. I also installed xawtv and that worked
fine. But when I tried to run mythtv, no video ever
appears.

Probed: /dev/video - Television
Probed: /dev/video - Composite1
Probed: /dev/video - S-Video
Changing from None to WatchingLiveTV
setting sample rate to 32000 failed
Could not detect audio blocksize

Could this be related to the audio problem here?
Also, the setting icon from the frontend program
doesn't do anything either.

It may be that your sound card cannot record at 32kHz. The setup program
asks a question about this. Set the sample rate to 44100 and see if that
works, then try 48000.
